WILL

A will is a document that specifies what a person wants to happen to all of their possessions (known as the estate) after their death. To be legally valid, it should be signed by the person making the will, as well as by two witnesses. Should a person die without making a will, they are said to be intestate, and their estate will be dealt with under the relevant legislation, rather than what the person in question may have wanted.
